New Cadres of Officers

Rewarding fighters and a parade of graduates of courses for junior lieutenants Lieutenant Colonel Granovsky (1st Belorussian Front. 47 Army, German territory, March 22, 1945). Officer ranks were given to: junior lieutenant Nechaev, appointed commander of a rifle platoon; junior lieutenant Aleksandrov, who fought at Stalingrad as a simple armor-piercer, was appointed commander of an ATR platoon; junior lieutenant Kostin, appointed commander of a mortar platoon; junior lieutenant Biryukov; and others. On behalf of the command, Colonel Savkin greets young officers and presents them with orders and medals for military merit. Among others, the Order of Glory is received by the junior lieutenant [Aleksandrov].
