Unveiling of a monument to Karl Marx on Sverdlov Square in Moscow. Speakers: N. Khrushchev, W. Ulbricht (East Germany), J. Gollan (Great Britain). Moscow city; Lenin's mausoleum on Red Square. Changing of the guard at the mausoleum, the queue of people to visit the mausoleum. Completion of the construction of a trans-European oil pipeline on the border of the USSR and Czechoslovakia simultaneously from both sides. Czech and Soviet welders weld the pipe joint. Pioneers present flowers to welders. Start-up of the first stage of the Karadag gas and petrol plant in Azerbaijan. Measuring instruments, factory designs. Tanks in the yard of the plant with the first gasoline produced. A new rolling mill "2300" which has been commissioned in the shop of the Chelyabinsk Metallurgical Plant. Rolled steel sheet. Production of reinforced concrete pressure pipes at the Chelyabinsk plant of reinforced concrete products. Finished pipes. Concert for delegates and guests of the XXII Congress of the CPSU in the Kremlin Palace of Congresses. The concert will be attended by: N. Khrushchev, V. Ulbricht, A. Mikoyan, M. Suslov. The choir performs the "Song of Lenin" by the composer A. N. Kholminov.
