Gala evening in the Central Concert Hall "Russia": the guests of the evening are greeted by Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Dagestan Zaira Magomedovna Khizroeva (sinhr.), Chairman of the Board of the Writers' Union of the RSFSR Sergei Vladimirovich Mikhalkov (sinhr.), Composer Yan Abramovich Frenkel, artist Petr Petrovich Glebov, poet Rasul Gamzatovich Gamzatov; performance of the choir from the city of Kaspiysk (sync.); dance groups of Dagestan perform Kubachin, Avar and Akushin dances; the violin ensemble of the Makhachkala Musical College performs the suite of M.M. Kazhlaev. Exhibition of the fine arts of Dagestan at the State Museum of Arts of the Peoples of the East: an exposition of applied art made of wood, ceramics, metal, silver, sculptural compositions. Delegation of Dagestan in the House-Museum of PI Tchaikovsky (Moscow region, Klin): meeting with bread and salt; composer Murad Magomedovich Kazhlaev leaves a memorable review in the museum's book. Dagestan: flocks of sheep in alpine pastures; hydroelectric power plant; women weave carpets, make pottery; craftsmen create silver items.
