Abstract
Newsreel dedicated to the celebration of May 1 and Victory Day in Ordzhonikidze and Stavropol. The newsreel used the following filming: a tractor working in a field during spring sowing in one of the farms in North Ossetia, a view of a blossoming garden, columns of the May Day demonstration are passing through the square of Ordzhonikidze; schoolchildren and athletes among the demonstrators; the solemn laying of wreaths at the eternal flame and memorial in the Suar Gorge, where battles with the Nazis took place in 1942; among those present at the celebrations, Rear Admiral Tsallagov and a group of war veterans; schoolchildren lay flowers at the memorial cemetery; a correspondent girl interviews a war veteran, a member of the French Resistance Movement P. Tumanyan at home, in the park during a joint walk; the opening of a memorial in honor of twice Hero of the Soviet Union I.A. Pliev: a military guard and a guard of honor of pioneers at the monument, a solemn meeting with the participation of war veterans; solemn planting of trees by war veterans in one of the parks of Stavropol; general view of the park, blooming garden; festive May Day demonstration in Stavropol.
