Abstract
The issue of the newsreel is dedicated to the amateur art group "Terchanka", which represented Russia at the traditional folk dance festival in Cork, Ireland. The plot uses the following filming: employees of the Nalchik diamond instrument factory at work in the workshop, production processes in the workshop of a sewing factory in the city of Nalchik; members of the "Terchanka" ensemble ride a bus through the streets of Cork; views of the city of Cork - streets, houses, temples, city dwellers on the streets, in the park, children playing on the street; people enter a Catholic church, a priest meets parishioners at the door of the church; general view of the opening ceremony of the festival, a male choir performs a Kabardian folk song (sync. and off-screen); the director of the festival A. Fleishman gives an interview - talks about the festival (sync and behind the scenes.); meeting of the members of the ensemble "Terchanka" with residents of the city in the city park, performance of the ensemble in an open area in front of the Irish audience; the final concert of the festival: the performance of the choir from Poland, the ensemble "Terchanka", the ensemble from Jamaica, etc. reception by the mayor of the city of Cork, Sean French, a delegation from the Soviet Union; Minister of Culture of Kabardino-Balkaria K.K. Efendiev presents gifts to the mayor.
