North Ossetia. A view of a snow block on the road after an avalanche descended from the mountains, a panorama of the snowy mountain peaks; the chairman of the flood control commission, K.A. Kabolov, and the head of the mobile mechanized convoy, M.M. Sidaev, in the cinema, watching a film report from the Alagir gorge, where work was carried out to combat the flood; general type of flood control work: dump trucks unload crushed stone at the site of a water break, bulldozers are working on the construction of a dam, strengthening the river banks with concrete slabs; general view of the destructive consequences of water breakthrough: destroyed bridges, washed out roads, raging streams of water in the river, a view of one of the settlements on the river bank.
