Abstract
The newsreel consists of three plots. 1st plot. Kabardino-Balkaria celebrates the 425th anniversary of the voluntary annexation of Kabarda to Russia. Cars pass along one of the streets of Nalchik. Monument to V. I. Lenin in the city center. Fountains in front of the administrative building. Monument "Forever with Russia" on Lenin Avenue, flags in front of the monument. Laying wreaths at the monument, playing a brass band, a meeting. The ceremonial meeting of the regional committee of the CPSU and the Supreme Soviet of the Kabardino-Balkarian ASSR, the first secretary of the Kabardino-Balkarian regional committee of the CPSU T.K. Malbakhov, the presidium present in the hall applauded, presentation of letters. Festive events at the stadium in Nalchik (there are girls, young people in national costumes, WWII veterans are walking, a brass band plays, spectators in the stands). General view of the stadium. Ph.D. The plot tells about the first Doctor of Philosophy in Kabardino-Balkaria Salikh Efendiyev. The building of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University. SI Efendiev is giving a lecture, students in the audience are writing notes. S.I.Efendiev and his wife T.E. Efendieva (university teacher) are walking along the path from the university. T.E. Efendieva conducts a lesson. T.E. Efendieva talks about meeting her future spouse. The Efendiyevs meet with Salikh's parents and relatives in his native village. Mountain landscapes. The building of the store "Household goods" on one of the streets of the village, rural houses, gardens. The Efendiyev family is drinking tea at a table in their apartment. 3rd plot. Auction. The plot is dedicated to the International Horse Auction at the Tersk Stud in the Stavropol Territory. Those present at the auction are taking pictures, filming the horses with a movie camera. Presentation of the horse Mashuk, the mare Makovka and others. Trades. Spectators on the podium.
