Abstract
The plot of the newsreel is devoted to the problem of preserving folk traditions in North Ossetia. The plot uses the following filming: a panorama of the mountains, a rehearsal of the folklore ensemble "Art" (from Ossetian means "fire"): members of the ensemble sing, dance, talk about their ensemble (sinhr.); people's artist, woodcarver H. Sabanov is working on a picture, engages in woodcarving; general view of paintings and wood carvings in the artist's workshop; schoolchildren - members of the circle of national applied arts in the Republican Palace of Pioneers are engaged in embroidery, sewing; students of secondary school No. 11 in Ordzhonikidze, under the guidance of labor teacher Alla Gutiyeva, are engaged in folk art: they make Ossetian folk costumes for dolls; cafe visitors sit at tables, dance.
