Abstract
The film tells about the execution in 1940 of 11 thousand Polish officers in the Katyn forest of the Smolensk region. Cross on the grave of Polish soldiers in the Katyn forest. Chronicle footage: members of a special commission investigating the case of Polish officers stand at the ditch with the bodies of the dead. Member of the Commission Academician N. N.
