Abstract
The film chronicle is dedicated to the opening of the monument to V.I. Lenin in Krasnoyarsk [20] April 1970, during the celebration of the centenary of the leader of the revolution. Krasnoyarsk residents with banners, flowers, garlands of spruce branches gathered at Revolution Square. On the pedestal of the monument is a tribune with the leaders and honorary citizens of the city. First Secretary of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Committee of the CPSU Vladimir Ivanovich Dolgikh speaks to those present. Monument to V.I. Lenin (1970, architect S. Speransky, sculptor V. Pinchuk, G. Yastrebenetsky) opened. Pioneers and workers of Krasnoyarsk lay flowers at the monument.
