Opening of the 28th All-Union Congress of Surgeons

Hall, Presidium of the 28th All-Union Congress of Surgeons, held at the Bolshoi Theater of the USSR. The congress is opened by the chairman of the All-Union Society of Surgeons, full member of the Academy of Medical Sciences of the USSR, Professor B. V. Petrovsky. Speakers: chief surgeon of the USSR Ministry of Health, full member of the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences, Professor V. I. Struchkov, full member of the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences, Professor A. A. Vishnevsky and others. Congress delegates in the hall, on the sidelines. Professor B. V. Petrovsky talks with surgeons from Africa.
