A film about the current state of one of the most beautiful estates of the Stroganov Counts in the village of Volyshevo, Porkhovsky District, Pskov Region. A two-storey manor house (1860s, architects M. Makarov, K. Schmidt), which previously belonged to Count S.А. Stroganov, stands with boarded up windows. Inside the house, a stray dog is running up an Italian marble staircase. The parquet made of precious wood is hidden under a layer of dust and plaster. The bird has built a nest on the stucco ceiling. The manor park is overgrown with grass, sheep graze there, a bottle of vodka stands on the remains of a garden sculpture, children saddled winged lions (griffins) that adorn the entrance to the building. A herd of thoroughbred horses grazes in a paddock on the territory of the estate.
