Abstract
A film chronicle about the passage of the militia parade in the city of Petrograd on November 12, 1923 G. Petrograd. Admiralteisky prospect, 8; on the building of the militia headquarters there is a portrait of Karl Marx and a garland of pine needles; policeman at the entrance. Police building. Signboards: "POLICE", "PETROGRADSK DEPARTMENT. PROVINCE SOVIET WORKERS AND PEASANTS POLICE ". Uritsky Square during and after the parade. Spectators. The police brass band performs melodies under the direction of the conductor. Horse and foot militiamen with rifles, banners, checkers. Policemen in the ranks, are marching. Among those present - [the head of the fire department at the UNKVD of Petrograd, Vasily Sergeevich Bektashev]; the commander of the Red Army [commander of the Leningrad military district Vladimir Mikhailovich Gittis] and [the head of the Petrograd provincial militia N.S. Serov]. Horse carriages with fire fighting equipment; firefighters; parade commander. A group of city leaders on the podium, among the speakers - V.M. Gittis.
