Presentation of the Lenin Prizes to Art Workers

Moscow city. June 17, 1959. NS Tikhonov, Chairman of the Committee for Lenin Prizes in Literature and Art under the Council of Ministers of the USSR, presents diplomas and decorations to the laureates of the Lenin Prizes in the hall of the Central House of Artists. Among the laureates: N.F. Pogodin, Yu.I. Solntseva (receives the prize of her husband - A.P. Dovzhenko, awarded posthumously), A.N. Kibalnikov, A.I. Khachaturyan, M.M.Straukh, B. A. Smirnov. Among those present: N. A. Mikhailov, V. O. Toporkov, E. D. Turchaninova, K. A. Fedin, B. V. Ioganson, D. D. Shostakovich, G. L. Roshal, I. Skobtseva, A. K. Tarasova, B. N. Livanov, M. I. Zharov and others.
