Abstract
Books, photographs of R. Tagore for different years. Newsreel about R. Tagore's stay in Moscow in 1930: R. Tagore on Red Square; with Soviet writers, with filmmakers. Anniversary events in the Column Hall of the House of Unions, in the Institute of Oriental Studies of the USSR Academy of Sciences, in the All-Union Institute of Art Studies, dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the birth of the Indian poet and educator Rabindranath Tagore. Exhibition of paintings by R. Tagore; T. E. Morozova plays the piano, an Indian instrument, sings the songs of R. Tagore. Reception at the Central House of Writers of a delegation of Indian writers and public figures. There are poems about R. Tagore by the Uzbek poet Uigun. An excerpt from the play "Raja", staged based on the play by R. Tagore, on the stage of the Riga Dailes Theater named after Jan Rainis.
