Reburial of the Remains of Soviet Soldiers

Smolensk region, Kholm-Zhirkovsky district. Excavation work to open an old abandoned well with the remains of the dead unknown Soviet soldiers. The forensic scientist Sh. G. Kunafin directs the excavation of the well. The remains of the dead soldiers are transferred to the coffins. The funeral procession moves along the street of Kholm-Zhirkovsky. Funeral meeting before burial. Sh. G. Kunaf'in and a police officer in the office examine the documents found during the excavation of the well.
