Rewarding of the Chkalovsk Region

The city of Chkalov. A joint meeting of the Chkalovsk Regional Committee of the CPSU and the Regional Council of Working People's Deputies at the Gorky Drama Theater on the occasion of awarding the Chkalovsk Region with the Order of Lenin. Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the USSR GM Malenkov read out the decree on awarding and presents the order to the secretary of the regional committee of the CPSU DS Polyansky and chairman of the regional executive committee A. Ya. Zhukov. DS Polyansky speaks in response. GM Malenkov presents the Order of Lenin and the Hammer and Sickle gold medals to the Heroes of Socialist Labor VA Telyakovsky, IA Burma, SS Tertichny.
