Abstract
The film tells, on the example of the concrete fact of robbery of an elderly peasant woman from the village of Paunino, Kirillovsky district of the Vologda region, Alexandra Stepanovna Pikareva, about the ruin of the village and the Russian peasantry. The film includes the following filming: views of the Ferapontov Monastery, the destroyed church, the village of Paunino, the service in the temple, A.S. Pikareva at home drinking tea with neighbors, the judge asks questions to the defendant and the victim (sinhr.) During the court session, A. S. Pikareva tells the court about the robbery committed by the defendant V. G. Kotomin (sinhr.).
