Salute Festival

The film tells about one day of the Central Park of Culture and Leisure named after Gorky during the XII World Festival of Youth and Students, held in Moscow from July 27 to August 3, 1985. Part "a" Participants of the festival at the festival in the park saw a parade of orchestras, performances of national musical groups. We visited the exhibition pavilions of the RSFSR, Tajikistan, Lithuania, Belarus, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Kazakhstan. Part "b" Actor Leonid Filatov spoke to the participants of the holiday. Young people of different nationalities talked to each other, rode on merry-go-rounds. The big concert on the main stage ended with fireworks.
