Various aspects of the construction of the second tracks of the Baikal-Amur Mainline: transportation of land, chiselling and explosions of rocks in certain areas; laying sleepers and rails. The movement of trains on new railway lines. Women inmates of the Baikal-Amur Correctional Labor Camp are concreting construction sites. View of the camp territory for prisoners working on the construction of the BAM. The prisoners are having lunch; receive products in a specialized stall; produce a wall newspaper. Rewarding the foremost workers: drummers receive prizes at the general camp meeting. Holiday in the camp: prisoners ride a swing, play ball, do gymnastics, dance.
