SENSELESS

The film is about Darryl Witherspoon, a black student from a poor large family who dreams of joining the financial company SMYTHE BATES (Smythe Bates). Economics student Darryl earns money for his studies and to help his family in every possible way: he donates blood, works as a guide and in the cafeteria, delivers parcels, removes trash. He has a dream of going to work as an intern at the prestigious firm Smythe Bates, but it's not easy. In addition to economic knowledge, it is necessary to join a student club, which is led by his main rival for the position - Scott, you need sports training. Wanting to make money, Darryl agrees to try on himself an experimental drug that sharpens all the senses. The side effect of the new substance does not allow him to write a six-month test well. And he drops out of the list of five finalists - applicants for the job. But when the body gets used to the drug, Darryl succeeds. He is accepted into the student club, his favorite girl Janice is friends with him, he plays well hockey, and he is offered to be the sixth participant in the competition for the position of trainee assistant. In the hope of further sharpening the senses, Darryl increases the amount of the substance, but this leads to an unexpected effect. He gradually loses one of the senses. Quarrels with Janice, disgraces himself in front of the organizer of the contest, Randall Tyson. On the most important, final exam, the drug's effect ends, and Darryl manages to beat Scott. Darryl gets a job as a trainee assistant in the financial firm Smythe Bates, but his conscience does not allow him to agree with this, and he talks about an experimental substance. The management of the company decides not to hire a new employee this year. Randall invites Darryl to start his career at Smythe Bates by working in the post office, and a year later he is already in the position of analyst-trainee.
