Siberia on Screen Number 39

The special issue of the magazine "Let Our House Be Bypass ..." is dedicated to the history of the Estonian village in Siberia. Novosibirsk region, Toguchinsky district, the abandoned village of Estono-Semenovka. Abandoned houses; sheds; mill; well-crane. Felled power line poles; destroyed houses in the field. A horse harnessed to a cart is walking along the village street. Old Estonian cemetery. Unveiling of the monument to the founders of the Estonian village, the repressed Estonians in 1936-1939. and Estonians who died during the Great Patriotic War, established at the expense of former villagers and their relatives. Former residents of the Estonian village and their relatives lay wreaths at the monument, light candles. The opening of the monument is attended by the daughter of the founder of the village Gustav Ilves - Elmi Gustovna Kergand; lays a wreath, reads a prayer. Former villagers share their memories (sinhr.) Novosibirsk region, Toguchinsky district, the village of Russko-Semenovsky. Blacksmiths at work. State farm "Semenovsky": combines, trucks in the field; machine operators at work. Children with their parents go to school. Russian-Semenovskaya eight-year school: a solemn assembly in the courtyard of the school dedicated to the Day of Knowledge. Children with their parents are in the school yard; the teacher distributes primers to first graders. Pupils give flowers to teachers.
