Somalia Looks to the Future

The film is dedicated to the celebration of the second anniversary of the national revolution in Somalia. Somalis are working to improve the city of Mogadishu. Arrival of delegations: members of the Somali government meet the USSR delegation headed by S. Niyazbekov; military parade; on the podium, President Mohamed Siad Barre and guests. The peasants are having fun at the holiday; the Soviet delegation in the agricultural area of Jenale inspecting irrigation facilities, a banana plantation, equipment for a banana processing workshop; the Soviet delegation at the reception of the mayor of Mogadishu; physical culture parade at the stadium.
