Song of Fate

A film-reflection on the fate of Latvia by the example of the fate of 3 Latvian women: D. Luksh, E. Irbe and A. Ztern. A resident of Latvia D. Luksh sells flowers grown by her on the market, does housework. E. Irbe, deported in 1940. to Siberia, rides on a cart, visits the grave of his son, sings a song with Latvian women. A. Zatern, living after emigration in 1940 in Toronto, takes care of the garden near the house, collects things for a trip to Riga. The female heroines of the film tell (synchronously) the story of their lives. Riga city. Procession of the participants of the Song Festival, which was attended by Latvians from all over the world.
