Abstract
The film tells about the spiritual world of a young turner of one of the Kuibyshev factories, Vladimir Yakovlevich Nikonov. V. Nikonov reads Shakespeare's sonnets, works at the machine in the shop, talks with comrades, talks about Shakespeare's poetry, answers the correspondent's questions in the youth club, participates in the competition of young turners-milling machines of his plant, takes first place, accepts congratulations. Fragments of the competition of turners-milling machines, a military band plays in the shop. Workers are resting in a youth club.
