Abstract
Opening of the monument to the hero of the Civil War G. I. Kotovsky in the village of Gancheshty, Moldavian SSR, where Kotovsky was born and lived. GI Kotovsky's wife and children listen to the speaker at a meeting of fellow villagers gathered on the occasion of the opening of the monument. The heads of the regions and lands annexed to the USSR in 1940 sail on the Klim Voroshilov motor ship along the Moscow-Volga canal. Nurses present newborn babies to mothers for feeding in the ward of a new maternity hospital in Chisinau. Workers of the collective farm "In Memory of Six Communards" in the Stalingrad Region pick tomatoes in the field. Workers of the Research Institute of Livestock Breeding in the Novosibirsk Region, engaged in breeding a frost-resistant breed of pigs, bathe and weigh piglets on the scales. Fishermen catch fish with a net, a border boat is sailing on Lake Khanka in the Far Eastern Territory. Sports parade on the water, held in honor of the Day of the Navy in Sevastopol: sailors sail in formation, pushing a model ship on the water.
