Abstract
The plot of the chronicle about the opening on the eve of the 65th anniversary of the Great October Revolution of a new auto-railway station in the town of Shumikha, Kurgan region. On November 3, 1982, in honor of the opening of the station, a festive meeting was held, at which the first secretary of the Shumikhinsky district committee of the CPSU Boris Mikhailovich Tikhonov, the head of the Kurgan branch of the South Ural railway Veniamin Mendelevich Slosman, the head of the Kurgan regional transport department Veniamin Alekseevich Sakharov spoke. The distinguished construction participants are awarded certificates of honor and souvenirs. The first passenger of the new station, Viktor Pavlovich Voronin, a teacher at the Kirov Music School of the Mishkinsky District, receives a keepsake.
