The members of the delegation visited the St. George Hall of the Kremlin, the Armory, the Lenin Museum-Apartment in the Kremlin, the Lenin Mausoleum, Moscow State University (talking with the vice-rector Vovchenko), the Central Puppet Theater (talking with S.V. Obraztsov) ... Members of the delegation on the podium of Red Square during the May 1 holiday. On the platform of the mausoleum N. A. Bulganin, N. S. Khrushchev, G. M. Malenkov, K. E. Voroshilov and other leaders of the Soviet state. We attended the Bakhchisarai Fountain ballet at the Bolshoi Theater, danced by M. Plisetskaya. The German delegation visited the cities: Leningrad, Kazan, Tashkent, Samarkand, Kiev, Kharkov, Tbilisi, Riga, Minsk. I got acquainted with the architectural and historical monuments of the cities, visited the Kuibyshev hydroelectric power station, the Tashkent weaving factory, the collective farms of Uzbekistan, the Tbilisi Palace of Pioneers, the Minsk Automobile Plant, the Supreme Councils of Ukraine and Georgia.
