Tame Savages

A film about the inhabitants of the living corner "Shelter of Doctor Aibolit" in the "Stolby" reserve (not far from Krasnoyarsk, on the border of the Eastern Sayan Mountains and the Central Siberian Plateau). Biologist Elena Aleksandrovna Krutovskaya, organizer of the living corner "Shelter of Doctor Aibolit", talks with visitors. On her initiative, a variety of birds (ducks, wood grouses, hawks, crested larks, owls, eagle owls, etc.) and animals have been collected in the shelter. Roe deer graze in the natural conditions of the taiga; a young deer lies near the window of the house; hand wolf plays with dogs. Girls prepare food for pets; a worker cleans a snag for a bird cage; hay is brought into the yard.
