The Forgotten War

The film uses footage from the chronicles of the 1st World War: the fighting of the Russian army, the movement of refugees, the fighting of the opponents of Russia-Germany and Austria-Hungary, the fighting of the Russian army in the Caucasus. The film includes the following pre-revolutionary filming: production processes at Russian enterprises, Emperor Wilhelm II on one of the warships, the coronation ceremony of George V in India, a view of one of the processions in Russia, the funeral of Archduke Franz Ferdinand (1914), collecting tobacco for the Russian army in Moscow, prayer for the granting of victory in Yekaterinoslav, sending cars to the front, medical examination of soldiers before being sent to the front, military operations of the Russian navy, loading the wounded on the hospital ship "Portugal". Theater actresses collect donations for the wounded.
