The Rhythm and Speed of Goods Movement Is Provided by the Computer

Using the example of the Riga Wholesale and Trade Office of the USSR Tsentrosoyuz and the Republican Union of Consumer Societies of the Latvian SSR, the film tells about the advantages of mechanization and automation of commercial and industrial processes based on the use of electronic computers. The film includes the following filming: a general view of the Riga wholesale trade office, the work of the office employees in offices, in a warehouse, a general view of Riga, the department store "Liedags", visitors in the department store trying on clothes. Delivery of goods to the warehouse of the wholesale office, loading goods from the warehouse, the work of economists and base inspectors who check the quality of goods, training courses, the work of pneumatic mail in the warehouse of the office, an in-system fair at the base.
