Tretyakov on one of the streets of Moscow, the former building of the City Duma, a view of the territory of one of the monasteries within Moscow, the gate in Tretyakovsky passage, the building of the Tretyakov gallery, gallery halls, a view of the Volga in Kostroma, shopping arcades in the central part of Kostroma, the building of a weaving factory owned by the Tretyakov brothers. The film uses photographs and documents on the history of the creation of the Tretyakov Gallery, footage of pre-revolutionary newsreels, which captured Moscow.
