Abstract
The city of Leningrad, Nevsky Prospect, house number 17, where NV Gogol lived in 1833-1836; monument to Nikolai Gogol in the Alexander Garden. Exhibition "Gogol and the Theater" at the Theater Museum of the Leningrad State Academic Drama Theater named after A. Pushkin. Exhibits of the exhibition: photographs of the first performers of the roles of "The Inspector General" in the Alexandrovsky Theater in St. Petersburg in 1836; the first performers of "Dead Souls". Artists of the Pushkin Drama Theater are getting acquainted with the exhibits of the exhibition. Yu. V. Tolubeev, GM Michurin, theater director V. V. Erenberg are looking at drawings, photographs, sketches of the scenery of the first production of "The Inspector General", read a review of the tsarist official of the play.
