Tsikuri On the Road on the Road Bride

The film tells about the Lak village of Balkhar in the Akushinsky district of Dagestan, which for many centuries has been the center of folk art ceramics. Women make ceramic dishes: they work on a potter's wheel, apply patterns on dishes, and burn them in a kiln. The wedding "train" of the bride, accompanied by women with torches and kerosene lamps, musicians, passes through the streets of the village. Shepherds graze sheep. The boys are gluing a torn piece of a map to the globe. The boy goes round the horse; the horse throws him to the ground; boy beats a horse.
