Uvarovo

On January 22, 1942, the troops of the Western Front occupied the regional center of Uvarovo, the last settlement in the Moscow region. Ashes on the site of burnt houses. The corpses of killed civilians: teacher I. Klimov (with a rope around his neck) and employee Raipo V. Korkin. Father Ivan Afanasyevich Kudakov and mother Tatyana Aleksandrovna with their youngest son (they all worked together at a local brick factory) are standing by the corpse of the murdered 16-year-old son Alexei. Behind the backs of those present are the chimneys of burnt houses. General view of the corpses of civilians executed by the Nazis for refusing to retreat with them.
