Weapons Are Being Reforged

Speech by NS Khrushchev at the 4th session of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR (January 14-15, 1960), which adopted a law on a new significant reduction in the Armed Forces of the USSR; at the 15th session of the UN General Assembly (September 20 - December 21, 1960) with a proposal for general and complete disarmament. Transfer of vehicles by the military unit to representatives of the economic council; signing of the transfer deed. Riga Civil Aviation Institute, transformed from the Riga Military Aviation School. Sevastopol Shipbuilding College, which opened in the building of the former Naval Headquarters; former naval barracks, transferred to the jurisdiction of the Sevastopol City Council. The building of the sanatorium in Evpatoria is a former artillery school. Vacationers swim in the sea. Construction of new sanatorium buildings. Disarmed former military forts "Gray Horse", "Krasnaya Gorka". The territory of the Konigsberg Fortress transferred to the jurisdiction of the Kaliningrad City Council. Demobilized soldiers are working at construction sites in the country.
