Moscow city. November 19, 1988. Week of Remembrance for Victims of Stalinist Repressions at the Palace of Culture of the MELZ Production Association. Exhibition of projects of the Memorial to the Victims of Repression. Collection of voluntary donations, organized by the All-Union Society "Memorial". Memorial Wall - an exposition of photographs, documents of victims of Stalinist repressions, including photographs of V.T.Shalamov's funeral. At the opening of the Week of Remembrance, speakers: V. Korotich, K. Lavrov, Z. Gerdt (synchronously), the daughter of the playwright S. Tretyakov, the prosecutor Ryazhtsev, who checked the case of Vs. Meyerhold (synchronously). Sounds a musical and poetic composition to the music of A. Schnittke, V. Zolotukhin reads poetry (synchronously).
