The film tells about the Lenin Memorial (a complex of buildings and structures), created to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of V. I. Lenin in Ulyanovsk. Filmed by order of the State Committee for Civil Engineering and Architecture under the USSR Gosstroy. FIRST PART. Russia, Ulyanovsk. Types of r. Volga. The passenger ship goes along the river. Buildings of the Ulyanovsk Agricultural Institute, the Ulyanovsk Regional Art Museum, the Palace of Pioneers, a children's library, a secondary school, a central department store, the Ulyanovsk Pedagogical Institute, the Venets Hotel, the Ulyanovsk Drama Theater.
