Yaptik- Hesse

The film tells about the Nenets (Yaptik) - a small ethnic group of the Far North, about the life and life of people on the Yamal Peninsula. The film includes the following filming: Part 1: Tundra. A man fresh a deer, a boy cuts meat, drinks the blood of a slaughtered deer from a ladle. Family members for a meal. A 90-year-old reindeer herder sits near a herd of reindeer. Part 2: male reindeer herders fish in the river, lasso reindeer, children help them. A dog drives a herd of deer, runs around it, a reindeer breeder looks at the herd, leads the deer. One of the boys is standing by the reindeer team. Women are at the plague, preparing food. Family eating. Men carry the carcass of a deer, put it on a cart to other carcasses. Part 3. A reindeer breeder lassoes the reindeer in the herd, harnesses the reindeer to the sleds, lays the belongings on the sleds. Deer graze in the tundra. Reindeer herders move to a new camp: the wagon train is moving along the tundra, crossing the river. An elderly woman, 100 years old, walks along with everyone. A man carries women and children in his arms across the river. The woman is pushing the sleds up the hill. Members of a family of reindeer herders ride on sleds.
